A decade and a half of customer-facing product development, engineering and operational experience has taught me some hard lessons.
Listening to what the market and participants are asking for, analyzing the benefits to a business of providing an answer, and finding or developing a solution or answer that fits… is what I do….with Integrity.
A 30 minute call is usually enough for me to point you in the right direction….even if it isn’t toward me.
Self Service has become a misnomer…I nearly prefer the term “Else Service” as in :
“Somebody ELSE other than your human employee is performing a process that benefits you in some way.”
Elements of a successful Self Service deployment -
Hardware - Kiosks , Mobile Phones, Interactive Screens, AI and Machine Vision Systems - really any physical object bridging the gap from a user’s mind to your system.
Software - Tools at every level (Firmware, OS, Telemetry, various Back Ends) - these enable the hardware and connect it to existing systems and processes.
Service - All hardware requires Service - whether it is a user-operated device, like a mobile phone, or a business-operated device, like an ATM - Service ensures long term success…without it…you’re simply running a science project.
or 3 (a) Financing - Fitting a solution to a market-supportable pricing model requires some amount of financial engineering.
